Host a Zonal tournament - It's EASY !
Requirements:
- A suitable venue.
- Suitable furniture (tables and chairs)
- At least one staff member representing your school on the day
- Eagerness to support your chess program
Free subscription - chess articles for your school newsletter
When your school hosts a tournament, or run regular coaching programs with Northern Star Chess, your school is entitled to subscribe to our newsletter article service.
- Subscribed schools receive a set of 8 newsletter articles by email at the beginning of each school term for 4 terms, in Word document format, suitable for cutting and pasting into the school newsletter editor.
- Chess puzzles and answers/analysis
- Local and international chess news after major events
- Notices of upcoming local and interstate chess tournaments
- Your school newsletter coordinator controls what is published by making the selection from the received articles.
