School Holiday Workshops

8th January 		1:30pm to 3:30pm Chess Variants Workshop (conducted on Zoom)
  • A fun workshop introducing chess players to some of the different chess games offered on Lichess, with different chess rules.
  • Participants are guided by an experienced chess coach through the rules of variants, followed by game play using those variants
  • Check out the the variants offered on Lichess here
  • Useful knowledge for players in NSC Chess Variant Challenge events!

11th January 		1:30pm to 3:30pm Junior Holiday Workshop (conducted on Zoom)
  • FIDE Master Kris Chan is running this 2 hour workshop for chess students already familiar with the rules of chess.
  • A 2 hour session including playing games, solving chess puzzles and learning chess tactics and strategies in a fun and engaging way.
